Anzac Day - Services

ANZAC Day services are held at a wide number of locations throughout the world, although the key focal point for commemorations is of course Australia and New Zealand. Being away from home doesn't mean that you can't mark this special day - tours operate to both Turkey and France, and there are a number of official commemorations that can be attended.

In Turkey:

ANZAC Cove - Annual commemoration, with additional ceremonies at sites of particular note.

In London:

Battersea Park - Dawn service at the ANZAC Memorial.
Cenotaph, Whitehall - Official wreath-laying and parade.
Westminster Abbey - Official service of commemoration.

In France:

Villiers Bretonneux - Australian-French commemoration programme.
Le Quesnoy - not an ANZAC Day commemoration specifically, but an annual parade and service marks the date that the New Zealanders stormed and captured this heavily fortified town.
